Materials required to complete the project:
29cm x 45cm piece of light weight batting 
Scrap of batting 16cm square
Strong thresd such as crochet thread or embroidery floss.
Robe and arms: 1 x piece 33cm x 45cm and two pieces 13cm x 18cm
Strong thread such as crochet thread or embroidery floss to match robe.
Trims for robe: 33cm length (Optional)
Jacket: Lining: 45cm x width of fabric ( this will not be seen)
45cm x width of fabric fusible pellon
Strips of fabric for the patchwork jacket
Scraps from the lining fabric, and robe along with others from your stash 2.5cm - 6.5cm wide.
Short pile fur trim
Jacket binding - 6.5cm wide x 125cm long
Sleeves - 2 pieces 8cm wide x 18cm
Hat - 10cm wide x 30cm long
Pom-pom - 6.5cm circle
Felt for gloves: 18cm square2 x decorative buttons for gloves
Embriodery floss or Perle 5 thread to stitch gloves in either matching colour or contrast.
Dacron toy stuffing - small amount about 2 handfuls
Hat or quick drying craft glue (eg Helmer Premium Craft Glue)
Embellishments for Santa to carry - size approriate as desired.
 
General supplies: sharp scissors, pencil, hand sewing needles, pins, sewing machine, thread to match fabrics, tape-measure, etc.
